Join us in downtown Geneva on Friday, August 5th from 5:00pm-8:00pm as we remember the life and work of the internationally renowned artist Arthur Dove.
Known as America’s first abstract painter, Arthur Dove is perhaps Geneva’s most globally famous resident. Born in Canandaigua on August 2 1880, Dove attended Hobart College and Cornell University, eventually becoming one of the most celebrated painters in the world and influencing generations of artists.
The monthly self-guided walking map, detailing the full lineup of artists, venues, exhibits and activities, will be available soon at participating venues and at participating venues and here on the Geneva Night Out website.
See you there!
